Just because this year has been one of the more difficult times in many people’s lives, it doesn’t mean there isn’t a lot for which to be thankful. If you normally get together with a large group of friends or family for Thanksgiving, you have probably canceled or otherwise scaled back those plans. Our team of Porsche Delaware product experts was discussing the possibility of keeping the stove off this year and looking for some places to get 2020 Thanksgiving dinner near Newark, DE. Naturally, that sparked quite a discussion as to where people would inquire about getting some holiday take out. They were nice enough to write their favorite selections down so we could share them with you. Hopefully, these places will be able to help you make this year’s modified Thanksgiving dinner a little more enjoyable.

CDC Tips for a COVID-19 Safe Thanksgiving

About the only thing that most medical experts agree on for this year’s Thanksgiving is that people should stay home only to celebrate in-person with those people who live in the same home. However, if you are bound and determined to see people, there are a few things you can do to mitigate the risks as much as possible.

• If the weather possibly cooperates, try having the celebration outdoors. Additionally, people should maintain the 6-foot social distancing rules and wear a mask at all times when you’re not actively eating or drinking. Make sure that people are wearing their masks over their mouths and noses.

• Everybody should be washing up before dinner, but it is even more important this year. People should be using warm water and soap and/or using alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
