Did you know these three things about Veterans Day?

• Prior to 1954, Veterans Day was known as Armistice Day and it was originated as a way to end World War I

• For several years, starting in 1968, Veterans Day was celebrated on the fourth Monday in October. President Gerald Ford changed Veterans Day back to Nov. 11 because of the historical importance of the date as the recognized end of World War 1.

• Arlington National Cemetery holds two major memorial services for the more than 400,000 people interred in that sacred ground – Memorial Day and Veterans Day.

Everyone at Porsche Delaware would like to thank men and women who served our country with honor!
