1951:Â
The Porsche 356 SL drew international attention to the company by achieving a class victory during the 24th hour of the Le Mans race.Â
1962:Â
The Porsche 804 went ahead and won the French Grand Prix in Formula 1, further proving to the world the advanced performance of Porsche models.Â
1963:Â
As the successor to the 356, the legendary Porsche 901 fastback coupe was introduced and was later named the 911.Â

1983:Â
The Porsche V6 TAG turbo engine became with most successful German Formula 1 racing engine with 25 Grand Prix wins and 3 World Championship titles.Â
1995:Â
For the first time, the Porsche 911 Turbo features a twin-turbo and was the first turbo model to be equipped with All-Wheel Drive.Â
