How fast is the 2021 Porsche Panamera Turbo S?

It has barely been a month since Porsche introduced the world to the 2021 Panamera Turbo S. The news has certainly reached the loyal Porsche Delaware customer base, who has in turn been reaching out to our team of product experts with the question, ‘How fast is the 2021 Porsche Panamera Turbo S?’ We will get into more details in a minute, but suffice it to say that when a Panamera owner is on the highway way, they will more than keep up with the pace of traffic with plenty of gas pedal left to spare. For the new model year, Porsche has upgraded the power plant used by the Turbo S and Sport Turismo models to be able to accelerate quickly and offer a very impressive (track only) top speed of 196 miles per hour. Let’s take a closer look at a few other important details.

What does it have under the hood?

When the 2021 Porsche Panamera Turbo S arrives at the Porsche Delaware showroom early next year (first quarter 2021), the twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter, V-8 will produce an incredible 620 horsepower and 604 pound-feet of torque. For comparison purposes, last year’s Panamera Turbo had a peak performance output of 550 horsepower and 567 pound-feet of torque.

As we stated earlier, the 2021 Panamera Turbo S will have a top speed that knocks on the door to 200 miles per hour – an important benchmark in the high-performance automobile world. The other statistic that interests high-performance drivers is a platform’s zero-to-60 mph time. Upgrades made to the 2021 Panamera Turbo S will help the vehicle hit 60 mph in 2.9 seconds – when using Launch Control.

The twin-turbo V-8 is also used by the athletic Panamera GTS, however, Porsche has tuned it differently for this version of the vehicle. Owners of the 2021 Porsche Panamera GTS variant will get 473 horsepower (a 20-horsepower increase over 2020) and 457 pound-feet of torque.
