Other than the base engine, Porsche also offers the following engines specific to each Cayman S trim – a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-four-cylinder engine that produces 350 horsepower and 309 pound-feet of torque that powers the Cayman S trim, a 4.0-liter flat-six-cylinder engine that produces 394 horsepower and 309 pound-feet of torque that powers the Cayman GTS trim, and a 4.0-liter flat-six engine that produces 414 horsepower and 309 pound-feet of torque that powers the Cayman GT4 trim. Not to forget the GT4 RS trim that will be sold as a standalone trim which will be powered by a performance-tuned 4.0-liter flat-six that pumps out 493 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque.
