Performance Output, Range Information and Technology

The 2021 Porsche Taycan will be available in three trim grades, 4S, Turbo and Turbo S. Our manufacturing partner is also going to be introducing the Cross Turismo wagon model, but that will be covered separately. Performance output for the 2021 Taycan will be determined by the battery pack that is equipped. A 79.2-kilowatt-hour battery is equipped on the 4S version; the Turbo and Turbo S models will use a 93.4 kWh battery.

Drivers can expect the 2021 Taycan to make 482 horsepower all the way up to 562 horsepower when the launch control overboost system is engaged.

How far will it travel on battery power?

Porsche engineers have included a pair of driving modes Sport Plus and Range. When the latter is activated, the 2021 Porsche Taycan will limit its top speed to allow the vehicle to be able to travel up to 250 miles. However, if you want to get the full performance available, just press the accelerator harder.

Drivers will be able to maximize their efficiency by employing the Porsche Intelligent Range Manager (PIRM).
