Take a First Look at the New Porsche\u00a0Macan\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Since its debut in 2014, the\u00a0Macan\u00a0has been a huge success and has secured its spot in its segment as a sporty compact SUV.\u00a0 Then, recently in July, Porsche unveiled the new\u00a0Macan\u00a0for a world\u00a0premiere\u00a0in Shanghai.\u00a0 And although\u00a0it\u00a0will take a while until it makes its way to the United States, here is a first look at the new Porsche\u00a0Macan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While still staying true to the distinctive Porsche design DNA, the new\u00a0Macan\u00a0is equipped with redesigned features and a wider range of available technologies.\u00a0 There are plenty of new elements to the\u00a0Macan\u00a0as well, such as the standard LED headlights and signature Porsche three-dimensional LED tail light strip.\u00a0 The exterior has been re-worked so that the front-end appears wider; and the brake lights\u00a0feature a four-point design.\u00a0 Plus, there are new available exterior colors: Miami Blue, Mamba Green Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic and Crayon.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Even the chassis of the\u00a0Macan\u00a0now has newly developed\u00a0tires\u00a0and offers improved performance characteristics such as enhanced neutrality while\u00a0maintaining stability.\u00a0 The new arrangement of the tires allows for full use of the intelligent, all-wheel drive Porsche Traction\u00a0Management.\u00a0\u00a0The\u00a0fine-tuning of the\u00a0Macan\u00a0chassis also provides more comfort like a smoother and quieter ride for occupants.\u00a0 And\u00a0there\u00a0are new 20-inch and 21-inch wheel options that drivers can choose from.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Since 2014, more than 350,000 Porsche\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Macan<\/span><\/span>\u00a0models have been delivered.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n

Step Inside the New\u00a0Macan\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Along with the facelift, the interior of the\u00a0Macan\u00a0has been updated for full connectivity and premium comfort.\u00a0 In fact, drivers can easily access the new Porsche Communication Management system through the enlarged 10.9-inch full-HD touchscreen that has been seamlessly integrated into the new design of the instrument panel.\u00a0 Then, the air vents have been redesigned and repositioned to be underneath the central screen of the console, as well\u00a0as an improved\u00a0ionizer\u00a0for better air quality.\u00a0\u00a0Even the steering wheel has been redesigned to be a GT sports wheel with mode switch plus Sport Response Button in the available Sports Chrono Package.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And to make things more convenient, each\u00a0Macan\u00a0will be equipped with a Connect Plus module and a heated windscreen.\u00a0\u00a0Connect Plus adds various functions like intelligent voice control and real-time traffic information.\u00a0 There is also the \u201cHere Cloud\u201d connection which offers cutting-edge traffic data.\u00a0 The\u00a0Macan\u2019s\u00a0redesign also allows for more assistive technologies like the new Traffic Jam Assist which includes adaptive cruise control.\u00a0 And drivers can monitor their driving performance with the new\u00a0Offroad\u00a0Precision App.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
