<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\nThe 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS is one of the most anticipated sports cars of the year, and we’ve seen plenty of teasers of the high-end sports car while testing over the past few months, and now we have an official word from Porsche. The hotly anticipated sports car will make its debut on August 17, 2022. Porsche has also revealed that the development of the new 2023 911 GT3 RS halo car was inspired by the mid-engine 911 RSR and rear-engine 911 GT3 R FT racing cars. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 2023 911 GT3 RS will sit above the Porsche GT3 as the new top model in terms of performance. In addition to this, we know what to expect from the 2023 Porsche flagship, thanks to Porsche GT division boss Andreas Preuninger. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\nWhat to Expect from the 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\nMore optimized for the track than its predecessors, the 911 GT3 RS will be powered by an incredibly responsive, high-revving, four-liter, six-cylinder boxer engine that can produce approximately 500 horsepower. Porsche says the engine has “proven ideal for use at track days and club sport events.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
For reference, the Porsche 911 GT3 is also powered by a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated engine capable of producing 502 horsepower. It has a 0-60 mph time of as little as 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 197 mph. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Porsche also said that the team focused primarily on aerodynamics and chassis when developing the new 911 GT3 RS. Some of that work can be seen in the increased wing size, vertical aero fins, and larger intake vents on the hood. So, expect to see an even better performance. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
