\"2020Compared to current electric sports cars which lose driving dynamics after repeated power acceleration, the Taycan will not.\u00a0 Porsche is designing its traction motors that are in the Taycan to be \u201cpermanently excited synchronous machines\u201d that will have long-term output, allowing for powerful acceleration several times in a row without diminishing its performance.\u00a0 And the Taycan will feature a smart cooling system that will prevent performance loss due to heat build-up when consistently driving at high speeds.\u00a0 The system will continuously supply cooling power to the components that need it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Then, for not only fast speeds, but also fast charging, the Porsche\u00a0Taycan\u00a0will be equipped with 800-volt technology that will allow enough electric power for a range of about 248-miles to be charged in just 15-minutes.\u00a0 Plus, the higher voltage allows for a lighter and more compact electrical system.\u00a0 And Porsche has been meticulously working on the design of the\u00a0Taycan\u00a0so that it is as aerodynamic and lightweight as possible.\u00a0 Part of this is done with smaller and lighter batteries and overall lightweight E-motors that Porsche has engineered.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
